The Coast of Chicago

The Coast of Chicago authored by Stuart Dybek is a collection of 14 short stories. A trade edition book had been rebound into separate books and cased as a collection. Each book has the individual pages attached to a very narrow Japanese tissue accordion folded spine, the back page is not attached to the cover allowing the pages to stretch out. The cover stock is a corrugates paper reminiscent of the building materials often found in the areas of town portrayed by Mr. Dybeks stories. All are housed in a sturdy fabric covered box. This book binding is a one of a kind. Boxed set is 6.25 x 8.75 x 5".
